Outreach & Conferences

FEGRS Conference
I presented my research on Glancing Angle Deposition of NiO nanocolumns for OER at the Faculty of Engineering Graduate Research Symposium (FEGRS), University of Alberta, and was honored to receive the Emerging Technologies Award from Alberta Innovates.

ECS Conference
At the 247th ECS Meeting in Montreal, I presented my research on nanostructured NiO electrodes fabricated via Glancing Angle Deposition for electrochemical water splitting with the NRGMATs group, University of Alberta.

CMSC Conference
I presented my research on nanostructured NiO fabricated by Glancing Angle Deposition (GLAD) at the Canadian Materials Science Conference (CMSC), University of Alberta, sharing insights into its potential for electrochemical energy applications.

FES at Telus World of Science
joined the Future Energy Systems’ Energy Explorer program at the University of Alberta, presenting my work on hydrogen energy and water splitting through an interactive demo at the TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. It was exciting to share the story of Hara and Hugh with young learners and spark curiosity about the future of energy.
